15+20M were good from Ghana. 40 was very noisy and, being in the 12hr category, I only had a 2 hour slot for that band. I mistimed it and wasted the first hour 2000-2100. From 2100-2200 the noise dropped 3 S-units and I could work a few. I daren't use high power on 40 though. It caused the hotel's satellite TV decoder to do a full reset! 80
was hopeless due to noise; just an unlucky evening. I only worked 4 stations. 10M never opened for me. I had 2 hours operating on the Sunday morning 0730-0930, mostly on 20. I initially thought conditions were dire, with mostly very weak Gs. That was until a couple of the big guns called me as they did their S&P scan and they blew my head off. What had happened was I'd worked everyone except the guys with 5W to an indoor aerial. I think this is a good indications that my home made Moxon beam worked OK, though doubtless the 400W from the local club's linear helped too. I thoroughly enjoyed this first attempt at BERU and I hope to be back in Ghana again next year.

I've attached a few more photos of my trip to Ghana for BERU.
